Maximum protection and comfort
Working with a welding machine is not considered to be one of the most traumatic jobs, so the welder must be reliably protected from
burns of the skin, inflammations and burns of the eyes leading to loss of sight, damage to the respiratory tract.
This requires the use of special suits, shoes, gloves, respirators, headphones and, of course, a welding mask.
Do you know the main problem of 95% of people who start working with a welding machine? It's simple: they don't know how to choose a quality, effective and reliable respirator. And this can have tragic consequences.
Our company pays special attention to the production of protective equipment for work with welding machines. Realizing the importance of this, we have launched our own line of Chameleon welding masks.
How to choose a Chameleon welding mask?
Important parameters when choosing a welding mask:
- DARKNESS RANGE
This is selected based on the type of welding you plan to perform. For example, all Chameleon welding goggles in the 9-13 DIN range are suitable for MMA welding.
For TIG welding, it is better to choose a filter that can operate in the 5-9 DIN shade range.
It is very convenient if the dimming control can be adjusted manually depending on the process.
- DIMMING SPEED
The second important characteristic is the switching speed parameter of the Chameleon light filter for the welding mask. Choose a model with the fastest switching speed: if the filter switches slowly during the arc flash, it will affect your eyes and vision. This parameter is very important if your eyes hurt after welding and you don't know what to do. In this case, you need to buy a Chameleon welding mask with the fastest possible shutter speed.
- NUMBER OF SENSORS
An important indicator for a Chameleon welding mask is the number of sensors.
Normally, models with 2 sensors are sufficient. However, if you are working in conditions where various objects or structures can block the arc glow, the filter may automatically open and illuminate. For such work, models with 4 sensors are better suited.
- POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
Pay attention to the power supply system of the light filter. It is powered by built-in solar panels. Or you can additionally secure yourself with built-in replaceable cells - lithium battery pills. This option is more reliable.
What are the features and advantages of our masks?
- The mask is made of durable materials, which ensures reliable safety and longer service life;
- A large number of useful functions and sensors that make working in the mask as easy and comfortable as possible, convenient fixation on the head, including on a helmet;
- Versatile features that allow you to work in different welding modes, automatic dimming of optical filters;
- Chameleon filter that, unlike traditional glass darkening, allows you to see when welding starts and create a precise weld;
By combining all these criteria, we have been able to create a protective mask with technical characteristics that satisfy both domestic and professional needs:
- Our welding masks can operate in the following different modes: MIG, MAG, MMA, LiftTIG;
- The masks have several functions that allow them to be adapted to specific working conditions and a 270-degree field of vision.
- Each model is equipped with a solar panel and a replaceable lithium battery;
- The mask filter works with two or four sensors. They provide an immediate response to radiation. Response time from 1/10,000 sec to 1/30,000 sec, depending on the model;
- Degree of darkness: from Din 5-9 / to 9-13;
- Operating temperature: -5 ℃ (23 °F) to + 60 ℃ (131 °F);
- The welder can customize everything by setting the desired tilt angle, depth of fit, and circumference;
Now you know all the features you need to choose a quality welding mask. Our specialists are ready to answer all your questions and help you choose the right mask. We take full responsibility for your safety, so we are constantly improving for you.
Take care of yourself and your health!
